1995 Chevy K1500 Cheyenne (base version of Silverado) Pickup Truck, desirable long box (8 foot box can hold full sized sheets of sheetrock), V8 engine and the 4WD works. I've had the truck for about 11 years and put about 32k miles on it in that time. Bought it around 162k miles and now has around 194733. We have 3 drivers in our household and 6 vehicles so time to thin the herd. Sold in "as is" condition, no warranty inferred or implied. Currently, the truck starts, stops, runs, drives, but has flaws as one would expect of an almost 30 year old truck. I've not had issues with it because I use it maybe once per week, and check all the fluids, letting it warm up fully before I use it, then use it to do specific truck things. It has never been a daily driver for me, just a spare situational use vehicle. The action shots are 3/4 ton of rock, handles it well with not a lot of sag, and I pulled out some trees with it. My usage is really as a spare vehicle and yard work, hauling yard waste to the dump, hauling landscaping material, and use in the winter in the snow. I put less than 3k miles on it per year..

The Good:
Starts, stops, runs, drives, 4X4 works - transfer case was resealed a couple years ago
In the last 6 months I put in a new battery, new power steering pump, and new heavy duty power steering lines
Over the last few years' it has had a new alternator, new master cylinder, new front shocks and springs, new radiator, brakes replaced, steering box rebuild - doesn't have the old Chevy truck sloppy steering - it's tight, new plugs and plug wires, and new ignition switch as I recall. New distributor complete assembly not just cap. Coolant flush and fill, brake flush and fill, power steering flush and fill, frequent oil changes. I'm sure there is more I am forgetting.
Does not use oil between oil changes, does not burn oil, does not leak oil. Oil level stays nice and steady.
There are no check engine lights lit.

The Bad:
She is not going to win any beauty pageants, she is in work truck condition
The main issue is that there is a crack somewhere on the transmission bell housing, sometimes it leaks fluid heavy and other times it is light. Because I use the truck so infrequently, and its use is generally planned, I warm it up to operating temp and top it off as needed every time before I use it. Been leaking for at least 6 years now, and shifts fine, all gears engage smoothly etc., but I also check it and top off before each use. For this reason, I highly recommend this truck be a spare vehicle and situational use like I use it. You can pick up a used 4L60E for about $500 bucks on here or FB Market and have it installed and resolve the issue if you want a daily driver. This is buyer beware, if you are not willing to fix the problem or meticulously maintain it as I do, then this is not the truck for you. Just fair warning.
A/C stopped working a few years ago, never bothered to get it checked but heat works
Truck is very dusty inside from trips to the rock yard and the dump. Clear coat clearly peeling, has dents, scratches, and rust as seen.
Tires have between 6/32nd's to 7/32nd's tread remaining, I bought them new when I got the truck 11 years ago, so this is a good indicator of how much the truck has been used, but the tires are 10 years old and I would recommend replacing.
The airbag light has been on since the steering column had to be taken apart, and the horn does not work.

Again, truck starts without issue, has never left me stranded, runs, drives, 4X4 works and is a solid work truck that works well at truck things. It is not recommended as a daily driver in its current condition, you'd have to track down the leak in the transmission and repair or replace. Again, for my usage, I never minded babysitting the transmission fluid levels. Considering its been leaking transmission fluid for many years and still shifts perfectly I'd say I've done a good job with it.

The standard stuff - I do not need help selling this vehicle. I screen my phone calls so text, email, or CL chat is best. Been scanning the marketplace and there are a lot of non-operational old 4X4's at this price point, so the fact that mine runs and drives, is a desirable long box with working 4WD tells me I've priced it fairly. Cash is king of course, so there may be some slight movement. I have a clean title in hand. The truck has never been in an accident. Message away with any questions.
